What are the procedures for vaccination of adolescents under 18 years old with chronic health issues?

  • Many countries are now focusing on vaccinating children as young as 12 years of age to gain cluster immunity as a measure to control the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Malaysia also took a similar approach, approving the use of Pfizer-BioNTech’s Comirnaty vaccine for individuals aged 12 years and above.
  • The government recommends administering the Comirnaty vaccine produced by Pfizer-BioNTech to adolescents 12 years and above.
